Living and working in space

Find what life is like for astronauts whilst they are in orbit around the Earth. The National Space Centre has a range of artefacts and examples of space hardware that are not normally on show to the public. These items are made for manned space flight and some have even flown in space having been donated by the astronauts that they belonged to. Ask questions about life in space and discuss the artefacts with a member of the National Space Centre's Education Team.

Nature, Life and Technology

Nature, Life and Technology (NLT) will be a new A-level subject in secondary schools in the Netherlands from August 2007.

This new subject requires teachers to step outside their disciplinary sections and to form a multi-disciplinary team which is responsible for teaching the subject. It's clear that all this means quite a different approach in organization, teaching and management .

The videoconference shows the second national teachers' day in preparation for the implementation of this new subject. You will get a mixture of interviews, overall impressions and -of course- a selection of possible teaching topics. All this will be recorded and presented by students of the Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur (KSE).
